Cedar Crest College

Head Field Hockey/Lacrosse Coach/Assistant Athletic Director:  Crest College, a private women's college located in Allentown, PA, is seeking a dynamic individual to be the head coach of both its field hockey and lacrosse teams. This position reports to the Director of Athletics and is part of the college's administrative staff.  Specific areas of responsibility will include student-athlete recruitment, training, conditioning, skill development, and game preparation for both sports. Ensuring adherence to the policies of Cedar Crest College, the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) and the NCAA will be an ongoing essential. Other administrative duties will be assigned in the area of recreation and intramurals.   This is a full-time, ten-month position. 

Qualifications:  Bachelor's degree with a minimum of three years of successful coaching or playing experience, preferably at the college level. A high level of self-motivation and excellent interpersonal skills are imperative.

Centenary College

Centenary College located in Hackettstown, NJ is in search of an Assistant Sports Information Director. This is a part-time position to begin fall 2010.  The candidate should have previous experience in the field and/or an applicable bachelor's degree.  He/she should be well versed in the rules of NCAA Division III.

The Assistant Sports Information Director will work closely with Sports Information Director, Director of Athletics, Assistant Athletic Director, Coaches and the College as to the coverage of each team as well as various stories that the Athletic Department and/or school would like to promote.  Effective interaction with students, colleagues, college staff, alumni and the general public is necessary.  Knowledge of and commitment to compliance with all College, CSAC, and NCAA rules and regulations, as well as, dedication to full academic development of student-athletes are essential.

 

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required (preferably in journalism, communications, or a related field) with prior experience in sports information or a related field as well as previous experience with web site web page design/maintenance.  Previous successful coaching experience (preferably at the collegiate level) will be considered but is not required.  Must be computer literate; strong organization and communication skills necessary; must be able to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.

 

Centenary College is a member of NCAA Division III and the Colonial States Athletic Conference.

Head Men’s Golf Coach
