Trenton, NJ., - The Keystone College baseball team is set to open up NCAA play today against Alvernia University at 10:00 a.m at Waterfront Park in Trenton, NJ. This is the third straight appearance in the Division III NCAA Baseball Regionals for the Giants who have posted a 5-4 record over the last two years.
The Giants enter the regional as the 5th seed and are ranked 21st in the latest D3baseball.com poll. Keystone defeated Gwynedd-Mercy College in The Colonial States Athletic Conference championship to earn the automatic bid to the NCAA tournament.

GAME RECAP: The Keystone College (30-7) baseball team made a statement in the first game of the NCAA Division III Baseball Regionals at the Waterfront Park in Trenton., NJ. The Giants drove in eight runs in the first three innings against Alvernia University (32-11). For the day Keystone had 18 hits with Edwin Padua collecting four. Sean Brewer was dominate on the mound as he pitched five innings, allowing one hit and striking out three. The Giants' move into the winners bracket and will face top seed and the number one ranked team in the nation Johns Hopkins University on Thursday at 4:30 p.m.

GAME RECAP: Keystone College (30-8) fell to the number one ranked team in the nation, Johns Hopkins University on Thursday afternoon. The Blue Jays (40-4) knocked in nine runs on a dozen hits while capitalizing on three errors. Sean Murphy tossed a complete game for the Giants giving up four earned runs on twelve hits while striking out six. Yazy Arbello and Andy Vega each picked up a pair of hits including a home run for each. The Giants will play Widener University at 10am on Friday in an elimination game.

GAME RECAP: The Keystone College Giants (30-9) offense struggled against Widener University (27-13) on Friday morning in the elimination game of the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Baseball Regional. Kevin Culbert worked eight innings for the Pride allowing just two earned runs on four hits while striking out five. Eric Groff picked up two of Keystone’s four hits, with Kory Leicht and Donald Reese each adding a hit. The Giants failed to capitalize in the eighth inning when they loaded the bases without a hit.
