Colonial States Athletic Conference

New Orleans, LA (March 9, 2010) – The Cedar Crest College Cross
Country team was honored by the United States Track & Field and Cross
Country Association by being named to the 2009 All-Academic Team
announced on Friday.

A total of 153 Division III women’s programs received the
USTFCCCA’s All-Academic Team honors this year and Cedar Crest
College was the only institution from the Colonial States Athletic
Conference to receive this honor.

The University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire Blugolds was named the 2009
NCAA Division III USTFCCCA Women’s Cross Country Scholar Team of the
Year, while Whitworth University had the highest overall team grade
point average (3.73).  

For a team to be considered for the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team award,
they must have competed and compiled a team score at an NCAA Regional
Meet. The team must also have a minimum 3.10 team cumulative grade point
average.
