Aston, Pa - Gwynedd-Mercy College has been predicted to capture the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) women's cross country championship after ten head coaches casted a vote in the annual preseason poll. Gwynedd-Mercy received six of the ten first-place votes for a total of 96 points.

"We are no doubt honored to be chosen the preseason favorite by the conference coaches," first year head coach Mike Dager stated. "Our team has big goals for this season."

Only one point separated Marywood University (84) and the 2008 CSAC champion Keystone College (83).

Cabrini College (63), Baptist Bible College (60), Cedar Crest College (57), Neumann University (32), Immaculata University (30), Philadelphia Biblical University (24), and Centenary College (21) rounded out the voting.
