Keystone College’s Robert Booth and Marywood University’s Caitlin Hadzimichalis Named CSAC Scholar-Athletes of the Year.
Aston, Pa. – Keystone College’s Robert Booth and Marywood University’s Caitlin Hadzimichalis have been named the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Scholar-Athletes of the Year.
Robert Booth, a senior communications major, carried an overall grade point average of 3.80 into the spring Semester. He also won Keystone College’s Thurston Award which is bestowed upon a male and female student in their junior or senior year.
Booth, a member of the Keystone Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), has been a member of both the Track & Field and Cross Country teams for all four years and has been a captain for the last two seasons. Booth has volunteered at a number of community events in the Scranton area during his tenure at Keystone.
Caitlin Hadzimichalis, a senior Health & Physical Education major with two minors in Coaching and Nutrition, recorded an overall grade point average of 3.85 going into the spring semester. She is a member of Phi Epsilon Kappa, a Catholic Honor Society, has been on the Dean’s List every semester and is a two-time Pacer Scholar Athlete.
On the field, Hadzimichalis was a three sport athlete (field hockey, women’s basketball, and softball) and a team captain in all three sports. She helped lead all three Marywood teams to the CSAC playoffs for the first time in over five years. Caitlin was a first-team All-CSAC selection in field hockey and a second team All-CSAC selection in softball.
Hadzimichalis was a four year member of the Marywood Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), serving as president for the past two years, and volunteers her time to a number of community efforts.
