The Fair Play Award is given out annually to a Philadelphia Area High School and College team (men or women). Nominations are made and voted on by the membership of the EP&DISOA each fall. The award recognizes a team for fair play, sportsmanship and commitmenr to the spirit of the game resulting from observations made by the officials.
The association serves and are assigned to 35 local colleges, most with both men and women's teams, in the Philadelphia area. The award is given annually to one of those teams, as long as there is a nomination.
Under the direction of season year Head Coach Jeremy Brodovsky, the Knights played the entire season without receiving a yellow or red card. Neumann received the National Coaches Association Gold Award last season for the same accomplishment.
Neumann finished 8-9-1 overall, tying the 2001 team for the most wins in a season.
