8/27/2008
Aston, Pa. – Cabrini College’s Men’s Soccer team has been selected as the pre-season favorite in the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) coaches’ poll. Third-place finishers in the 2007 conference championship, the Cavaliers received four of nine possible first place votes, earning 73 points to secure the top spot over Philadelphia Biblical University. “In the inaugural year of the CSAC, we are extremely proud and honored to be voted the pre-season favorite in a very competitive league,” said Cavalier Head Coach Glen Jaskelewicz. “I think it’s a testament to our seniors over the last two years and their impact on the continuing improvement of our program. We look forward to living up to this expectation.” Philadelphia Biblical University earned a total of 61 points for a strong second place showing in their first year in the conference. Neumann College was selected third with 56 points. Centenary College received 53 points for a fourth place finish.
