Centenary Student-Athletes Assist with CSAC Habitat for Humanity Build

LAUREL, Del. (June 10, 2009) – Eleven student-athletes, representing five Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) schools, traveled to Laurel, Del., from June 4-6, to participate in the CSAC Habitat for Humanity Build. The group helped the Sussex County Habitat for Humanity build homes for low-income families.

DeMaio Earns ABCA-Rawlings Mid-Atlantic Region Gold Glove

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ (May 19, 2009) – Junior Mark DeMaio (Morris Plains, NJ/Parsippany Hills) earned a 2009 American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA)-Rawlings Mid-Atlantic Region Gold Glove, the organization announced Monday. DeMaio was stellar for the Cyclones in left field, leading Centenary outfielders with 13 assists. He also ranked in the top five of CSAC outfielders in that category.

Aston, Pa. -- Second seeded Keystone College defeated #6 Elizabethtown, 10-8, on day two of the first round of the NCAA Division III Baseball Championship on Thursday. The Giants will face top seed, Kean University, on Friday, May 15th at 4:30 p.m.

In ECAC action, sixth seeded Neumann University defeated No. 3 Delaware Valley College, 12-5, in the first round of the ECAC Division III South Baseball Championship. The Knights will travel to Wilkes to face second seeded Penn State-Altoona in the 12 p.m. game on Friday, May 15th.  (More...)
